“Before joining Ethika, my life was filled with negativity and uncertainty. From the very first day I sensed something different — the warm smiles, the genuine camaraderie, the culture of empathy. I felt like I’d found a family.”

“Before joining Ethika, my life was filled with negativity, uncertainty and stagnation. I often questioned my direction, because every day felt like a struggle — my motivation, inspiration and sense of purpose were all missing. I felt like I was drifting without any real direction.
But then fate brought me here. From the very first day, I sensed something special. The warm smiles, the genuine camaraderie, and the culture of empathy were unlike anything I’d experienced before. I felt like I’d found a family that genuinely cared about my well-being and my growth.”
“When my wife faced a terrifying medical emergency, the Ethika community didn’t just offer support — we became a family. From the founder’s personal guidance to colleagues covering my work so I could be with her, they lived our values when it mattered most.”

“Early one April, my wife began having severe back pain. It kept worsening, with sleepless nights, and soon she was losing control of her legs and struggling to walk. I was frightened and had no idea who to turn to.
I trusted Sandeep’s judgement and explained the situation. He responded with real care, extending his support and guidance from that day on — even knowing I was financially stretched, and even though we barely knew each other.
Through the team I found a spine surgeon — who turned out to be the husband of a colleague. A colleague led the follow-up, the surgery was a success, and my wife recovered. For nearly two months I could be with her without work stress, because teammates quietly carried my clients and my workload. I wanted to thank every one of them — and Ethika — for giving me exactly what I needed when I needed it.”
“I never saw this kind of relationship in any company. Everyone calling each other brother or sister — it feels like living in a family. Caring outside work, strict and supportive within it.”

“Completing a year in the Ethika family, I wanted to share my experience. A single conversation early on changed my path — leadership made space for me, gave me a chance, and moved me to the right team.
My manager supported me so well that even working largely on my own, I never felt alone. When I once stayed late, I got a call the very next morning telling me not to — to finish at a reasonable hour and look after myself. People noticed when I was quiet or struggling and stepped in before I had to ask.
I’ve never seen this kind of relationship anywhere else. Everyone calls each other brother or sister; outside work everyone is caring, and at work everyone is both strict and supportive. Thank you to all, and especially to the founders for the opportunity.”
“Ethika is going to grow super fast. I learnt to focus more on work than results — to build relationships, not just businesses. This is just a pause, not a full stop.”

“Please don’t read this as an official mail — it’s just my way of saying things I struggle to say in person. First, thank you: not for the chance to join, but for teaching me how trust works. You said yes to my requests, never expressed dissatisfaction at my doubts, and trusted my decisions even when they took me away. That quality of keeping faith in someone is something I still need to learn.
Ethika will grow faster than any other broker because of the base built over the years. I learnt to focus more on work than results; to play to strengths rather than dwell on weaknesses; the power of storytelling in sales; and above all, how to build relationships, not just businesses.
I’m sorry I couldn’t stay longer to help it grow — I can’t take a salary and work with half a heart. I’ll stay connected, because this feels like a personal bond, not just a professional one. This is just a pause, not a full stop.”

A former colleague left us for bigger names. Time away took them through several large broking firms and an insurer. Then they wrote to us, asking to come back. It isn’t a testimonial. It’s a candid account of what the industry looks like from the inside, and what they only understood about this place after leaving it.
“Somewhere in chasing the ‘American dream’, I lost the simple pleasures of life. I lost the purpose of life. I lost the happiness of life.”

Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to express my interest to rejoin Ethika. Before you make up your mind for a yes/no, please do read the document (especially the last segment as to why I should be re-hired by Ethika).
I am currently in a situation where I feel that I am in a boat, with no rowers. It is simply going here and there wherever the currents of life wants to take. Absolutely no control. Back then when I had control, when I had goals in my mind I was considered rigid for not changing my path/not adjusting as per the requirements. All that I was taught/that I learnt through reading was that I had to be so focused in life that things will shape as per my requirements. I was wrong, or maybe my circumstances were wrong or maybe my decisions were wrong.
I am someone who is highly ambitious, who likes to keep things in order, who likes to get into details of everything and the same thing has put me in problem. Now, I don’t know if my qualities are actually good or bad.
When I worked at [a global broking firm], I found things in order. There were some set processes and they respected every proposal and depending on proposals the re-insurance arrangements were made/design was made to tackle the proposal. Since that was my first job, I had the impression that this is how companies work. This is how liability insurance works. On joining Ethika, I realized that the insurance sector is still evolving and it is not like the [big consulting firms]. I got a reality check. But as I told you I was very much adamant on my dreams and in solving complex problems that I forgot, that simple things gets the business flourishing. Complex things are only good for R&D or when capital is by our side where all these complexities can be tried. I joined [another broking firm] thinking that I might get my dream job but again a reality check in the form of culture and work. When [a corporate-house broker] knocked my doors, I thought maybe [the parent brand] will get me my role, again a hard reality check plus horrible mental torture.
On going to [those firms] I found that there is no processes set for EB policies as well. During that time, I understood why you take so much pride in Ethika. No product is small or big. I was considering liability products as superior only to realise that it is just the hype created by people around, to make it look complex and attractive.
When I spoke to my superboss at [that firm] about my issues with my manager, he is asking me to talk to the manager itself. Now how will I get a solution from the person, who herself is my problem. And, when I give honest technical guidance to a client, my manager stops me. I understood how corporates work.
[Two international brokers] rejected stating that my resume is not stable, even after telling them the actual reason of leaving. [A large insurer] rejected saying they want a more experienced person.
Somewhere in chasing the ‘American dream’, I lost the simple pleasures of life. I lost the purpose of life. I lost the happiness of life.
You felt that I am afraid to try a new career role. I was not afraid to dive into a new role, I was afraid to lose my dream that my mind had hard wired.
Now, I have come to terms with reality. I have understood that things which look beautiful from outside are actually hollow from inside and the hype that corporates have created about the liability insurance product is utter [edited]. Leaders, with whom I have interacted, themselves don’t know the exact meaning of coverages. I do not wish to live in this false corporate world.
I really did not understand the value of Ethika when I joined it. I was living in a false world and I felt that the kindness of people at Ethika is deceptive. Because, every time where I have come across kindness earlier I have faced a major emotional setback. So it was a coping mechanism for me.
I am suffering a lot in my personal life as well due to unstable professional life. But, I know that I will bounce back the way I have done earlier, several times.
Why should I be re-hired by Ethika:
Kindly consider me for the role of sales in your organisation. I am ready to surrender myself to you. Please be my guide and mentor and help me find a purpose in life.
This document is similar to the ‘gold biscuit’ for my life. This is my final pitch to you. Looking forward to a positive response!
Regards,
